Whos' on First ?

(A cryptic article on the post match events of June 7th)

The game between the SociaBulls and Angels had been called at least an hour previously and yet some stayers were determined to uphold the traditions of the Bull Bar. Maybe it was the brisk air or possibly the over-spiritedness of proceedings that took place but the following is a true (if not embellished) account of the events and characters involved - Ah, BUT WHO IS WHO ?

Andrew had finished carefully nurturing the offerings from the Bull Bar and George was dutifully tending the herd with their fluid replenishment needs. Rowland and Robert were ensuring quality control over the contents of the West End products. John, Douglas and Joseph were discussing David's absence over a Woodstock or three while Burton and James were in deep conversation with Jane. Kym was seen walking (or was it watering?) his dog in between lively debate with Vasili over the relevance and correctness of certain rulings that had occurred within the game earlier (James couldn't be bothered).

And as for Worsley, alas poor Worsley, he had to be content with listening to the drivel that emanated from all of the above. He did however seem to enjoy proceedings even though he may not have been able to consume the quantities necessary to fully understand that days' meaning of BULL.

And Watts on second wasn't even there !
