Coach - Watt Coach
What happens when a Bulls game becomes unplaya-bull?
Well, the Bulls all get to together and discuss the up coming Alice adventure. Topics such as walk out songs get discussed and invetiabully the record of the Bulls in Alice gets an airing.
Scrib-bull had the feeling that coach Watts' record of 0 from 2,831 was a source of much bemusement. Some of the Bulls even suggested that a new philosophy or (god forbid) a new coach may be in order.
One (current Bulls coach) went so far to suggest that his Master's record might be good reason to put him in charge and suggested that their Winterball record spoke for itself. Several bulls, fell to the floor with laughter, at these claims - after all, we've hardly seen him all winter!
After listening to yet more talk about Coach Watts' philosophy of "Win one for the Gipper", Scrib-Bull was left wondering 'who or what is the "Gipper" and why should we win one for him, her or it?"..
Scrib-bull sought out Coach Watts for answers about the Gipper? This is what Mal had to say…
"The way I figure it, this crew can't win one for me - so I thought they might actually win a game for someone else."
Mal then added "the Gipper was actually an American Gridiron Football coach of the 1930's for Notre Dame and the following famous quote stems from his legendary reputation".
' .........tell them to go out there with all they've got and win just one for the Gipper.'
Well - the bleeding obvious is that they don't have anything to take out there!
I'm seriously considering starting them all on a course of drugs that will at least make them think they've got something.
I have, however, developed a plan to ensure a win in any event - but I don't want to divulge the details just yet.
All you may quote me on saying is that it involves delicate negotiations with certain opposition coaching staff and Games Coordinators.
If my plan works - Well may you say "WATTS A GIPPER."
