Who Is On First?

Invisa-Bull (your Bulls Hit Weekly Reporter) caught up with Mal "Alice Super Coach" Watts recently. Mal had some interesting thoughts on the in-field and particularly first base. ..........................

I (Invisa) started with a what I thought was simple question "Who is going to play first at the Alice?"

Mal rolled his eyes and said "The almost entire squad has put their hand up for first base. Bruce "Vino-Bull" Gordon and Bill "Responsor-Bull" Magoo are obvious starters. They are both experienced 1st basemen. Other contenders include myself, because I am the coach and I need to find a spot for myself, Glen "Accounta-Bull" Brewer (always looks good at first), Craig "Defenda-Bull" Martin has also put some interesting and entertaining performances at first lately. And there is always Bob "Indestructa-Bull" Booker."

I was struggling to keep track of all the contenders and then Mal went on to say....

"Of course who plays second may influence who is at first. You can't have both Vino and Bill on the same side of the diamond because the ground will start to list. Also, Vino has a propensity to "dive", which may have a serious seismic repercussions that could wipe some small Indonesian islands of the map. Bill generally remains upright which keeps the world safe...."

His voice tailed off and he closed his and then muttered... "What the hell difference does it make anyway - I'm still yet to instill a 'Win One Game' culture into these guys."
