Bulls Alice Springs Campaign 2010 - Day 5

Alice gets wet and warm.

Today was the day that the Bulls campaign got started. We had the 6:30pm game against the Northern Aces and scouting reports indicated that they were struggling with injuries and form.

Once again the Bulls breakfast was a highlight. Vino's Canadian breakfast of blueberry pancakes, bacon, eggs, tomatos and maple syrup was enjoyed by all who partook.

It was going to be another day of pacing and waiting so some Bulls took Bullscot on the road to have a look some of the historical sites dotted around Alice. Photo's on the web site shortly.

The Bulls gathered at 5:30 and headed to ground to get ready to play. But alas there was to be no game. We were rained out. Looks like a double header on Friday to make us the game.

Mid week concert cancelled because of the rain as well (thank god that we didn't have to listen to Molly Meldrum). The despondent players and irreconcilable sobbing coach retired to Toddy's for beverages, food and more beverages.

The night continued and the only point of note was Craig "Slida-Bull" Martin's approach to finding his bed. He simply walked into each room and if he was not thrown out crawled into a bed that looked like his. He did eventually get to the right place.
